Ceres is another manga that I have been borrowing from a friend a while ago. Having finally finished the 13th and 14th volumes after my school audition, I ended up finishing Ceres feeling very disappointed to say the least. I was expecting so much more from “one of Yuu Watase’s best series”.

The J-pop scene is busy this summer and Koda Kumi is no exception. I personally find that her singles are getting better as of late. So is this another hit or is it simply another piece of trash Avex is trying to get money off of?

A couple of days ago, Gackt’s new PV RETURNER was released. Supposedly, this is all promotion for a long-awaited single from him. I wasn’t expecting much when I started watching the PV but now I now find myself eagerly anticapting his new single along with everybody else.

When Hideki Motsuwa moves to urban Tokyo, he notices that persocoms are commonplace. These persocoms are the most useful and advanced computers that even look and act somewhat like humans. At the moment, Hideki is too poor to afford a persocom. That all changes when he finds a persocom lying in the trash. Hideki eagerly takes her home, turns her on, and names her Chi. However, he soon discovers that there’s a lot more about Chi that is hidden in first impressions.

It feels like the spring season just started and summer’s here already. Judging from the fact that I never actually follow my season preview watch lists, I’m only guaranteeing first impression posts of these seven series. So don’t be surprised if I drop one (or most) of these and blog something I didn’t mention here.
