I hate comparing one anime to another but I couldn’t help thinking “Star Captor Sumomo” after looking at this image . I mean look at the image for God’s sake! Who wouldn’t get the CCS vibe? I mean the outfit, the stuffed animal, the staff. Not to mention that they’re collecting stars instead of cards. The only difference that I saw was that this is based off a pr0no game.

Actually there isn’t that much to compare. Or not yet anyways. Besides the fact that there’s only been one episode, almost everything went from panel to panel. Except for these two things:

I just got back from AX after a very long day. So how was the SOS Brigade Invasion Tour? Basically it was a wonderful mess. The performances were wonderful but the AX staff screwed up. Think of a top-class restuarant with the best gourmet food but a 2 hour waiting and horrible service. That’s basically what this was. WARNING: EPIC POST AHEAD.

So I’ve only gone through two episodes and I realized I am probably going to stick with this throughout the whole thing. I don’t know exactly what draws me into this series. Maybe its the high quality animation or maybe its the bloody action but either ways I’m hooked.

So while everyone’s listing off their summer season previews, I’ve decided to do another round up thing ranking the suriving series from 1-5. Maybe I should make this a permanent weekly/bi-weekly/monthly post? I always fall behind on blogging episode by episode and I like doing this better.

This last week Music Station had the most impressive guest list ever: Gackt, Namie Amuro, Koda Kumi, KAT-TUN, Yuna Ito, and Maroon 5. For all of you who don’t know what Music Station is, it’s basically a weekly Japanese music variety show. So what’s up with Gackt?

Well this OVA was disappointing to say the least. I hope its not a predicament to the summer season. I would have liked to say that I fell asleep because I had been catching up on a lot of anime that day and I had a cold, but I enjoyed watching Devil May Cry right after this. So what went wrong here?
