So yeah I’m actually pretty surprised at how things are. It’s just that almost every show I’m watching is getting better. I guess now that everything’s gonna end soon they’ve gotta pick up the pace. I’m not ranking anything this time because there would be too many ties and eenie-meanie-minie-moes. Oh and Zombie Loan has been magically replaced with Baccano!

Baccano!

I really like this show but the thing is…I don’t get it. It’s a very intriguing series with top-notch production quality but it’s as confusing as hell. I find myself having to read psgels’s summaries just to process what happened (BTW psgels thank you). I guess I’m too retarded for this show? Well anyways, the crazy psychopath murderer intrigues me though. However, right after watching episode 4, I proceeded to imagine what’s-his-face meeting Ophelia. Ugh. Scary o.O.

Claymore

So as everyone and their mom knows, the anime is deviating from the manga. However, unlike the other whiny biotches, I think it’s all good so far. Anyone wanna bet whether Clare and Raki have a makeout scene at the end? The Raki changes really don’t bug me because well they’re making their own ending. It’s neccessary. Overall, I’m really enjoying my favorite arc with all the extra gore and well done special effects and I can’t wait to see how this ends.

Darker than BLACK

Okay so Darker than BLACK is heading back to random arcs again. The guy-saving-the-doll was tolerable but that mostly because they had that awesome Misaki x Hei moment. Actually, that’s one of the two reasons I’m still watching this show. Where was I again? Oh right, I actually found Huang’s past arc really good though I kinda wish it was put earlier in the story. I wanna see some plot moving, kay?

Kaze no Stigma

Okay so this show is REALLY getting good and for once it’s not in a retarded way. The Tokyo RPG concept is awesome and refreshing and while Kazuma’s past isn’t the most original (dead lover anyone?), it is still touching. Actually, the attitude difference between Kazuma is the most striking and makes it that much more interesting (and develops his character by a lot). Now who’s ready to watch Kazuma go beserk? I am.

Mushi-Uta

Uhhh….? What happened to this show? Seriously did Beat Frog (whoever the hell they are) go to Middle Earth or something? Well at least it’s not the toilet. This show still remains but in a completely different way slice-of-life type of way. Things should pick up soon as demonstrated by the amazing way they portrayed Asami’s bug-smashing. Or so I hope.

Romeo x Juliet

Things are FINALLY getting back on track! That kiss scene in the church was extremely sweet and things are getting intersting as the whole town is ready to take that damn Montague town. You go Juliet/Red Whirlwind! I hope you don’t die (which actually is a 50/50 chance at this point). Oh and for a random note, did the GONZO animators get stuck in Cancun during Hurricane Dean or something? Cause the animation is sucking.

Saiunkoku Monogatari

Slow subbing. I’ve only seen one episode since last month but that one episode was pretty good. I kinda forgot it (this is why I never do episode reviews BTW) but things are picking up as Eigetsu is getting screwed over, Shuurei’s plan is gets da boot, and evil bishie shows up to knock up Shuurei get in the way. I could probably wait forever for Saiunkoku to be honest though. Never mind. Forget I said that.

Seirei no Moribito

This is picking up nicely too. They are finally out of that damn village and everybody is clashing wonderfully with each other. In particular that scene between Chagum and Balsa was just…WOW. It’s been awhile since a conflict like that really touched me. I guess this proves that Seirei no Moribito doesn’t need kicka$$ action to be amazing.
