Anime WordPress Theme Poll!

Hi everybody! (Say hi)

I’m sort of the resident anime wp themes maker, but I’m hoping that some of you who come here or have just stumbled upon us will submit your very own themes too! Come on, don’t be shy and show people your mad skills.

But to the subject at hand, it’s sometimes a bit one-sided…biased let’s say, for me to choose my own images. I end up picking extremely flamboyant girly pictures from shoujo series, or anything illustrated by CLAMP. I know that’s not what a lot of people would use as their theme, since it could be too flamboyant or artsy. Plus, as someone who creates layouts, I understand the importance of appeal. Why make something if people won’t use it?

So, here’s a poll of sorts. Whomever feels like it, comment and tell me which series you want a theme in! Like a character a lot? Let me know…better yet, give me the image you want and I’ll create a theme. Want a dark theme, retro, PINK, say so and your wish is my command. Well, not quite. I gotta take my liberties too, but you get the drift. I suppose, if people pick Naruto, Inuyasha, or … Yu-Gi-Oh! I’ll agree to it…variety is the spice of life. A follow-up to bladegirl’s call for theme submission:
- It’s not required to submit a working WordPress theme. You can send raw XHTML/CSS layouts and we can convert it to a working WP theme (if possible since sometimes there are layouts that are very difficult to code into WP theme).
- You can place a link in the layout as credit to you and we will not remove it. It’s a great way to get exposure especially if you have a website and your theme is really good.
- Send it to me (darren at anime2manga dot com) or to bladegirl (bladegirl at anime2manga dot com), who ever you feel is more approachable.. XD

Haha! Don’t worry blade, they’ll come. Probably they’re asleep right now.
If you ask me, I’d go with Rurouni Kenshin, Slam Dunk, or Fate/Stay Night themes.

I can see Fate/Stay Night for sure. Rurouni Kenshin too, but it’s a bit harder for me to work with Slam Dunk but I’ll try :|.
