Today is actually the third day of my recruitment project. The first day, I was a bit nervous especially when I started writing and sending those request emails to a bunch of people who owns blogs that I sometimes visit and some I subscribe to. I didn’t know what their reactions will be. But I told myself there’s no other way. I’ve posted in forums where I’m a member of, but people just ignored my threads. So last Tuesday, I started sending emails.

And I must say I’m quite surprised with their reactions. Well, some of them refused to help me out in spreading the word and I absolutely understand and I have nothing against them. But I wanna thank all those bloggers who were very nice to me. They linked to this site. There’s Alia and JunnChen. Some even wrote a whole post about this project like Kabitzin, JP Meyer, Quinn, and Adun. Most of them were very nice and it’s possible I missed someone in this post. If so, let me know. I owe you guys! ^_^

The outcome? Thanks to these guys I now have four people who promised to help me out. Expect to see their posts on this blog a few days or weeks from now.

UPDATE
People are still helping me out and I owe them a lot as well. Thanks to RDrake, Aryaan, and Julie for plugging my site. ^_^

    Thanks for pointing Ari to this place!

  4. RDrake http://rdrake.animeblogger.net

    Yup, got your mail. No problem. I’m not a particularly big name like the guys you listed out, but I’ll do what I can.

  5. Samejima/JunnChen http://uselessthoughts.bravehost.com/

    Heya Darren! Does that include anime merchandise review? hehe

  6. Senna

    I have to say, I’m interested. What kind of articles would you be looking for — just anything about anime or reviews or something about a particular series? The furthest I’ve gone with anime blogging is a much neglected pitas site (and my personal blog, of course), but I think writing for someone other than myself would be a good incentive.

    ^_^ I came from Sea slugs blog post :) on my netnewswire feed :P

  8. Darren Pangan http://anime2manga.com/

    @scottfrye

    […] this site and half a year when I started the team, let me thank everyone. I still think that Anime bloggers are the nicest people on the internet because if it wasn’t for them, this site would remain unoticed. There’re too many names […]
