Akira Toriyama is a very familiar name to anime fans and it’s that’s no surprise. He is the person behind one of the most popular and most successful manga and anime series ever produced, non other than the Dragon Ball series. Many manga-anime artists are influenced my Mr. Toriyama and that includes the creator of the current anime hit series, Naruto.

Akira Toriyama is a Japanese manga artist, animator, and game character designer. He was born on April 5, 1955 in Kiyosu, a town located in Nishikasugai District, Aichi, Japan. He founded his own comic studio, Bird Studios, which was involved in the production of various mangas and anime series including the three animated Dragon Ball series.

His first ever manga, “Wonder Island” was published on 1978 by Shuiesha in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It wasn’t a big success but his next manga series entitled “Dr. Slump” brought him fame. “Dr. Slump” was published in the same magazine from 1980 to 1984. 1984 was the same year that the “Dragon Ball” manga series came out and became a record-breaking best seller. The Dragon Ball series was animated on February 1986 and became a world-wide hit. Following Dragon Ball was another hit series that was just as successful (probably even more successful) as the first series, “Dragon Ball Z”. There are a lot of talks about Mr. Toriyama wanted to end the Dragon Ball series there but the success was so great that a third part had to happen and then came “Dragon Ball GT”. Akira Toriyama’s participation in this third part is limited and “Dragon Ball GT” wasn’t as successful as the first two.

He didn’t limit himself to anime and manga. He also did some character designs for games like “Dragon Quest” (RPG that came out in 1986), “Chrono Trigger” (1995), and the fighting games “Tobal No. 1″ and “Tobal 2″ that both came out on 1997.

Akira Toriyama is one of the most successful Japanese artists and some anime fans consider him to be a living legend, especially Dragon Ball fans around the globe (including me).

first of all i want to say thank you because your db series had made my life much more happy and enjoyable. millions of people love db series and i just want to say “why isnt their going to be another series” come on you cant end it . dbz was a great hit and so was db. they were extremely famous or you can say popular. db gt didnt make as much money but i can assure you it wasnt bad. i have seen every episode and every movie ever made in the db series. db gt is great and i loved it. not only me, but there are many more who love it. dont let that finish your db work. it is awesome and you have great talent. your fans around the world are depending on you to continue the series, i will even beg you if i have to, plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz make a new series. you could just go with db af. it sounds extremely good. ive read some info on it and ive got to say it is pretty interesting. plzz dont end the series. come on you know youll also enjoy and love making the new series .plzzz continue the story and make your fans proud. Akira Toriyama, Forget the other things you are trying to make, Dragonball made you, so don’t go and kill it and say we should be satisfied, we know how much Dragonball we want. Because it is still popular more than ever, we want to see GOKU and VEGETA reach higher levels, and see the saiyans back training to become Super saiyans, trained by Gohan and the others. And have Goku and Vegeta training with each other, reaching ss5,6,7,8,9, And the ultimate form. If you are goingto put it to rest, at least have more journeys for the Z fighters against GODS. And have Goku and Vegeta reach those levels and vegeta runs Planet Vegeta with all the saiyans and Goku running the galaxies watching over Vegeta and the others. And that Vegeta tells his saiyans to reach levels as high as ss1,2,3,4,5,6, and send them to different quadrents to fight off evil. to rid evil off of every galaxy. And to set peace throughout the universe. at least have them fight off stronger opponants for every time they reach a new level of a oozaru Super Saiyan form. Make Trunks look cool again, and as the same for Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, Uub,Piccilo. We buy the series when it comes out so why not give us what we want, we fans are helping you, so help us Akira. Thank you.

yeh same here.. to be honest i was looking into it as well.. I’m a fan i used to draw dragon ball, z, gt..and i was talking to all my friends that where all about DBz/gt and they where so excited about it. and to be honest just to let Akira Toriyama. if he did AF he would make so much money out of it. t makes no sence to stop now. i mean y not go to the extreme make episodes till he cant no more. i bet they’ll excpet it on tv and comics n everything. its just up to him to get started. if puls it off thats his money, he’ll get biiger and he’ll makee us more extremely happier if he did creat Af or wuheva is next. All im asking is to please creat another DB ? because simply i love Dragon Ball and before i die i want to see this happen

Dragon Ball R ( ressurection )

3212 Are Adeventure Begins with the Birth of
the Saiyin Blooded Prophet Zonda. He is a Full Saiyin
who is the son of Zerkest the Rebel Soldier who has
started a rebellion against The Elite Saiyin Soldiers
who HAve made there own land a dictatorship. The
Rebellion has been going on for nearly 5 years,
seperating there home planet of Vegeta II , its Named
Vegeta II because of there old home planet Vegeta was
destroyed by a Tyrant who took over the saiyin’s named
Freiza. Years Passed an by 3230 Zonda was Finally
old enough to join his fathers Rebellion. But Fate would
have it that by 3231 Zerkest died in the line of duty
fighting the noturious an insane power hungry Dictator
saiyin named Sarzok. Zonda made it his Goal to kill Sarzok
an finally take back his land from the elites. They
happened to be called the elites because of there extreme
power. They were the strongest in there land. Except for
Zonda ofcourse. By A.D 3233 the war had gotton out of
control an it was time to abort. Even though Zonda would
soon have to leave he made it his goal to return 10 times
stronger an free his people an Evenge his Father. He Would
escape with only 3 surviving Rebels. He Told them as they
were sent in shifting space by an escape pod they will go
back elites themself but not just elites, but Super Saiyins
. This was a saiyins hardest an ultimate goal to accomplish
Zonda, Raditz III , Warsaw would become these elites
and free there people. Fate Would Have It They Would Land on Earth
Exactly As Vegeta Raditz Goku And All The Rest Did. Well Raditz III
Zonda, and Warsaw started to blow up towns just to pass the time and
hopefully find a fight to warm them up so they could begin training.
After Destroying the town almost completly a Mysterious creature to
them showed up , ….a namekian. Lookin Just Like Piccolo Just Younger
(later in the show you will find out that it is an offspring piccolo
had just before he died so this piccolo in the show is about 18 or 20.)
Well after they fight piccolo and find him of a challenge they ask him
who his trainer is they find out it is an old turtle hermit names Roshi
on kame house. Master Roshi is a witch in the show and is baba’s
brother so is about 200 years old i would say. Long Story Short they
train under master roshi then in season 2 Arkoh and Arsen two elite
saiyin warriors come to kill these 3 rebels Raditz III , Zonda and
Warsaw. Well Arkoh and Arsen Retreat once they relize they cant win.
Well this is Just A Summary of what i have to say but i have 5 seasons
already made One Is Saiyin Saga, Earth Saga, New Cell Saga and Morphed
Freiza Saga….. I HAVE A HUGE REASON EXPLAINING HOW FREIZA IS ABLE
TO BE IN THE SHOW SINCE HE IS DEAD AND IN H.F.I.L.

MAKE A NEW SERIES SIR.. Let them all be gone. it would be a good idea to make Goku into like a Super Dragon Sayian because of the dragon balls giving him eterntal life. Let him help Goku jr. and Vegeta jr. fight the dark!

i know ur tired of making dragonball series but if you could find it in your heart please make another dragonball series, i ve stopped watching all anime since the dragonball series were over. if u are not willin to make anymore then atleast let someone else make it for you but with your guidance and approval. im sure millions of fans would agree wen i say life has become dull without Goku and the rest of his crew. i am a great fan of yours though Mr. Akira Toriyama. please consider my proposal for a new series.

im chris im from the UK ive been watchin DBZ since i was 10 and i draw alot of the characters and i would really like to continue the DB series again with a super saiyan 5 goku and a super saiyan 5 vegeta along with SSJ4 trunks SSJ4 gohan and SSJ4 goten and also a super saiyan bulla and pan it wouldbe an honour to continue the series i hope that you will make another series of DB long live Dragonball z

this is how im thinking..i know youve worked so long on it and you got bored,but think of your fans who are still dreaming of DBZ/GT..i was crying when GT ended T_T

Umm people listen to yourselves.Your not talking to “The Legendary Dragon” himself.This is review for fans or some sort.I admire your passion for DB and its succesors,but it’s over.The closest to DB now is Naruto and Blue Dragon.Y did i say blue dragon?Because the animation came from “The Legendary Dragon”.But if they did continue i like the DBR name that i seen earlier.Instead of this zonda and radits3,bring the characters we love back some how.Around the 5 or 6 season make them train other humans majin buu-like creatures,nameks,and more sayians due to goku and vegeta’s family trees enhaced.Don’t make them imediate ssj’s though,because it takes out excitement of the form.When goku turned ssj i literaly jumped on the bed and ran through the house yell’n in joy.I really miss the DB series,when DBZ ended i knew there had to be more,due to the stupid ending,but yet i was still sad about how they tried to make seem that goku and uub would never return.DBGT actually ruled to me.All the DB fans i know says it really sucked but i disaggree.I’m sure Dragon thought the same and thats why it seems he quit.Mr. Toriyama,get back on the shenron and travel the universe for series ideas.If u wont continue the series at least make a series that can stand up as the new age DB.We need a action packed series from you to expose to new generation.I’m 17 and DBZ is what made me watch t.v and away from the streets cause i couldn’t wait to see the kamehamehah destroy something.Needless to say,i really can’t wait for the REAL movie next year(09′) although the story really isn’t the same as the show and goku goes to school?LOL that makes me laugh all the time because goku is portrayed as simple minded,dumb,stupid,kinda slow on the go,LOL.Well if anyone involved with the series see this,inform Toriyama(THE LEGENDARY DRAGON) that we care for his work.In some since admire him and love him.I cried at the end of GT and Z,i will cry along with the world when he dies….(if he dies b4 me….not jiynxing).Dragon to let u know i am inspired to make comics and a series similar to your DB action.Currently in work,though,i won’t drop this into the media unless you make a DB series or another series like it in the next 5-6 years.Trust me i won’t 4get what i just said and i and the rest of earth will be waiting,hoping,some even praying for this.If i make fame…..my success is because of you and your like a mentor although never met in person.One day i hope we can team up or make a cross-over series.Much luv and respest Mr.Toriyama

So the last movie for dragon ball gt in A hero’s legacey well that sucks guess you need a break from it lol but if you do ever decided to make more please do i have watched dragon ball dragon ball z dragon ball gt and all the movies that come along with them play all the video games and i still re watch episodes i wish you would make some more I’m sur you will eventually , I had my son watch them all and man he was like NOOOOOOOO when he seen the last one. You really out did your self with All the sagas of goku and the gang its almost like there real lmao anyway just wanted to do my part on convienceing you to make more of them ssj 5 would have been cool to see so hope to see more and really the dragon ball movie coming in april looks cool been waiting on a real movie for a long time i hope you decided that makeing episodes with real people is something to consider well thanks for reading this hope I inspired you to make more one way or another

I just want to say that i love your DragonBall creation. I am a huge fan of the shows and i am sorry to say i have not read the manga graphic novels but i love it none the less. I just want to let you know that your story of DBZ is great and i was planning on writing a novel myself on a new adventure of the classic DBZ characters that will face a never before seen enemy. I am only 16 but still i would hope that if it was to somehow get published in future years i would hope that i would have your consent on it. It is great but there are still a few rough spots i need to sand down, if you know what i mean sir. but i think that the story would be amazing for fans and i would hope it would be to your liking Mr. Toriyama. I have a creative idea that will bring DragonBall fans crawling back I currently live in Canada and after watching all of the DB/Z/GT I decided to play the games and after that, I came up with an idea that will blow DragonBall out of the water..It is not a new tv show It is an anime Movie It has all the original characters. It also has a new never before seen fusion, And one of the most Epic Battles ever seen in the DragonBall saga… I have the fusion character drawn out to the exact DragonBall specifications and I am currently writing the script.. Akira Sensei,

My name is Mohammad. I was born in Iran in 1979. My family moved to Japan in 1986. There, I attended elementry school . After a year of language lessons, I started reading and watching Dragon Ball. In 1990 my family moved back to Iran. There in Iran, I gathered the rest of the DB books and have been reading them since. In 1996 I left Iran by myself and lived in various countries ever since.

Today, I beleive I have the resources neccessary to build on your work, and to tell the story of that boy from that far and forgotten village. He is ready.

Im going to japan in 2 years. Im at animation school and my ideas for AF are far more suited for akira toriyama than silly super saiyan 5 and 6. lol

Akira Toriyama, I absolutely Love and admire your art work from your manga’s background to your characters and inventive stories. I must confess the only real work of yours I followed to literly the end is Dragonball Z and most of GT. Your art work has inspired me to go into animation and start to draw my own Manga I’m working on the Characters as I speak because the story is already in my head! I’m just having a hard time deciding who I would like to send my first rough draft to; I know I’m American and I’m going to college this year to perfect my drawling techniques in shading, highlight, and of human figure and of course landscape/ background. Your backgrounds are so amazing so many people don’t even think about it when DBZ character fly right past them! My favorite Comic producers are Marvel, DarkHorse, & of course You. I envy your story line throught-out all of Dragonball Z from the Saiyans all the way to Gt, how it all connected pure genius! The how you give each person their own characteristics and personality no ones the same.I love that about Dragonball Z and the humor you display you over overexagerate alittle but that whats great about anima! My manga will much different from yours though, there is sure to be lots of intense fighting in my manga it will have little humor or love and friendship in it. No, it’s more a mix of Mortal Kombat, Dragonball Z, technology of Starwars and a little of X-Men thrown into it to. My manga is going to be very brutal compared to DBZ more Blood, swearing, high power futurist weapons and destruction and kaotic deaths. Good morning Akira Sensei !! Really, really nice to meet you !! It’s an honor for me to send you this comment. I’m really sorry if my english is not perfect, but it’s just because I’m french. Since a long time (my birth ^^) I read the adventures of Son Goku and his friends with a huge admiration, and since I saw what we can give to all readers by drawing a manga, I promised me to try to make the same (even if it never will be so magical, marvellous, SUPER (Saiyajin :D) as legendary Dragon Ball !!!)
So, I’m working, with the biggest motivation of the world, to make my manga (the title is “Rules”), and I will be the happiest man of the world if you can give me your (professional ^^) opinion about my manga. It will be a real pleasure for me to know what can you think about my work

oh i camt believe im texting akira toriyama the creater of the dragonball series. i just wanted to say please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please start the dragonball series again. ive been a fan since i was 5 and im 13. ever since ive seen dragonball it inspired me. if it wasnt for me seeing goku, i would have never been the kid that is good all the time. ever since then ive been brave, i swore to protect the ones i love. for reals im not kidding. when i was 6 i dressed up as goku for halloween. i made my mom make the costume. ever since the show ended i was devastated.ive been trying to contact u all these years to tell u please start the series again. until then i will have my two favorite manga people goku and naruto.goku started my happy life.i hope to see goku on tv again then my mission will be finished.

So it appears that I am not the only one praying for Mr. Toriyama to do right by us. I beg you sir, please make another series! I have seen every episode of Dragon Ball, Z, and GT at least 3 times with certain episodes over 50 times. I’m addicted to it and I love it. I know my brother and his friends along with me and my friends all love what you have done with it and we are all over 17 years old! Please do not stop now. You have an incredible fan base for the Dragonball series, do not disappoint us all now! We are counting on you and I promise you will not be disappointed. The sales of a new Dragonball Chapter would be phenomenal. PLEASE do this for us, your loyal fans.

Thank you Mr. Toriyama for all that you have done, just do not end it yet.

Akira should make another dbz or something like this okay a story about Goku JR being watched over by the original Goku. and a ordinary guy finds all the dragon balls and makes a wish saying i wish for evil to Return to the universe and yet again it causes a rip in time and space and goes back to the dragon ball saga and Arale and goku are fighting and General blue and DB goku gets sucked in and they have to go on a quest to seek the evil and return balance to time and space But all of the evil are in different time areas so the have to travel through time and space to find the evil and return them and wish them back to hell.. good night everybody and maybe if you agree with this suggestion it will be made please i will write a book and send it to Akira toriyama so if you have suggestions you will find me at MUSTKICKHARDER on youtube and put your suggestions in comments so visit me and say what you think TTYL and goodnight

i gotta say…. really every person ive ever met always put me down for likin dbz there was the odd 20% that enjoyed it , but i kept on i always imagined that when he wrote that first dragonball seires he somehow unlocked the truth about life which could be explained in many ways.
i guess what im tryin to say is thank you for the great gift u shared with the world, the gift of dragonball to dragonball z endin at dragonball gt, sure gt wasnt as populare but it still lived up to the name. i feel pride when i watch the shows
my first son will be wearin weighted cloths and diggin crops with his hads workin construction with the weight.
but in the end i say all this cause the kidz of today need a new dragonball,
i am well aware of db kai and very proud to watch it,
but we need sumthin new
for years i have watched and studyed everything of dragonball - dbgt and slowly put togeather sumthin i called dragonball ng (next gen)
i know u will probly not get this but i must try to contact u with everything i got just so u can hear what i got to say just to listen even only if its for 5 min
i humbly and respectfully ask u to contact me through email so i might sent u a rough copy of my work
in no way is this to make money and be known around the world
i just wanna share in the joy that is dragonball
so i say i will give up all rights i have to any parts of the storyline i created and i will allow u to make whatever changes u deem neccesary

here is some of the things i thought about and put into your new story

what happined to vegeta and goku jr clearly they are where my story takes off, i dare to ask the questions of what about the next legendary super saiyan, where is friezas home planet and are the more of them,
what if a cell jr escaped, and of course what happined to master roshi then man ,
clearly i want to have a whole new gen of dragonball which would have all ur favorite back, how would i do this well krillin has a grandson same with tien i always thought of him and launch gettin togeather imagin a human like tien that every time he sneezed he gained unspeackable power maybe not as strong as ss2 but pretty close to super sayian,
i would suspect roshi would still be alive and kickin so he would be the one who explains to the new gen about the old z fighters and how a time of peace has passed and how the new z fighters would set out to bring peace to the north galaxy under the rule and protection of saiyans

but of course they would not be adults they would be kids it would be the only way to gain intrest of the new generation of dragonball fans
think about it, it would be a trunks and goten type os series but with vegeta and goku as kidz followed by krillin and tien and new nameks dende would have spawned 3 new eggs one to be gaurdian when he passes the other 2 to protect him a new set of dragonballs would be created and the adventure would begin again

the way i see it is after dbz u wanted to stop but ppl pushed for gt and im glad cause gt had to happin to give birht to a new dragonball
one the can be just as funny and eventfull as dragonball and yet also have the excitment and thrill of dbz

oh yea by the way to all the fans that wanna see ss5 ss6 ss7 ss8
guess what they dont exist so fan probly made them up
i hate to burst ur bubble but it gets stupid if u move onto 5 cause ss4 is the complete evoultion of the saiyans, its raw ape power in the hands of intellegent saiyans. its like friezas evoultion 2 form 3 form final form ,
super saiyan ss2 ss3 then just like cooler they found there true evolved forms that gave them the most power they can hold.
there is nuthin eles after that
but there is the question of will goku jr and vegeta jr or there children ever achive that sayian power is there a planet of friezas ppl out there who have mastered there forms
not that would be sumthing to see
